Tonight's game between Florida and Vegas could very well determine the outcome of the entire series. If Florida wins, they will have erased a 2-0 deficit and tied the series with momentum in their favor, but if Vegas wins, they will take a 3-1 series lead. Florida needs to win this game if they hope to survive, and it looks like they're doing everything they can to get their crowd involved tonight, even if it's at the expense of their previous opponents.
Florida Delivers Low Blow to Previous Opponents
Sitting atop every seat in FLA Live Arena tonight will be a playoff towel, except these towels have an interesting twist. While playoff towels usually have a team's logo or a saying, Florida's towels include the names of the cities of the teams they've beaten so far in the playoffs, crossed out with what looks like a Panthers scratch.
We're sure that Panthers fans will eat this right up, taking pride in their team's accomplishments thus far. Fans of Boston, Toronto, and Carolina may see things differently, however.
Vegas Has Everything to Lose
Both of these teams are well known for their vibrant personalities and brands. Both teams have very active social media teams, and the in-game atmosphere is a spectacle to be seen. Neither team wants to lose, but should Vegas lose tonight on Florida's home turf, it will be a huge deflation to their motivation.
Between the social media banter and the in-game chirping, Vegas could be ridiculed to no end tonight if they lose. Winning this game is a must for both teams, but the impact on Vegas could be deadly.
