Matthew Tkachuk Reveals How Florida Keeps Beating the Maple Leafs
This year's Panthers' story is great. They almost didn't make the playoffs and had to compete against the team who made an NHL record for the best season in history.
But now that it's all behind them, it seems like they have no pressure to win. And that's the key to their succes.
Tkachuk Reveals How Florida Keeps Beating the Maple Leafs
During an interview, he bluntly said:
"There's no pressure on us. Why play if you can't enjoy it?"
He revealed his team's secret and took a shot at the Leafs at the same time. It's true that Toronto has to deal with a lot of pressure. Fans and management want nothing less than a Stanley Cup.
Tkachuk and the Panthers know it.
His latest statement shows the mindset of their locker room and that's why they have good chances of sweeping the Leafs tonight :
"We have a very serious team where guys want to do well, but in a tie game late in the third, we're enjoying it on the bench — laughing, smiling, just looking around at the moment that we're in. We're really, really enjoying it and having so much fun."
