We recently learned the news that Marian Hossa will officially ride off into the sunset after a tremendous NHL career. Hossa signed a 1 day contract to retire as a member of the Chicago Blackhawks.
The Chicago Blackhawks surprised Hossa by revealing the franchise is going to officially hang Marian Hossa's #81 up in the rafters of the United Center where Hossa helped lead the franchise to 3 Stanley Cup Championships.
2010 over the Philadelphia Flyers in 6 games, then in 2013 over the Boston Bruins in 6 games and again in 2015 over the Tampa Bay Lightning in you guessed it 6 games.
Hossa played in 1,309 NHL games and racked up 525 goals and 609 assists for a total of 1,134 career points. The Slovakia 🇸🇰 born Hossa was drafted 12th overall by the Ottawa Senators in 1997 NHL draft.
