Originally drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins, the 3-time Stanley Cup champion and Vezina trophy winner, has spent the past few seasons with different teams, including the Vegas Golden Knights, Chicago Blackhawks, and currently Minnesota Wild.
When asked what his future holds Fleury responded that he'd like to stay with the Wild, but is unsure if that is a possibility.
Fleury says he «definitely» would like to re-sign with the #mnwild. Obviously takes two sides, so if it doesn't work out here, he'll enter free agency. He maintains he wants to play next season. Michael Russo (@RussoHockey) May 16, 2022
Regardless of where he ends up, Fleury likely still has a lot in the tank as goaltenders tend to age well, and with his experience, pedigree and leadership he would be a strong addition to any system.
