In what could be a first round playoff match up and man I hope it is for us hockey fans.
It just felt like a playoff game tonight between the New York Rangers, with the Rangers leading 2-0 the Penguins were in a bad mood and looking for a spark.
So when Rangers Barclay Goodrow took a slash at Pittsburgh Penguins Evgeni Malkin he wasn't going to hold back. Though Malkin had a mean streak and can hold his own, his teammate Mike Matheson would go after Goodrow instead.
The linesmen would break it up but Matheson hilariously inadvertently face washes the linesman.
The Action continued till the final buzzer.
Things all heated up after Anthony Angello destroyed Tyler Motte with a bone crushing check that ended his night.
