After moving teams for the first time in his career a season ago, three-time Stanley Cup Champion Patrick Kane is now taking his time in finding his next NHL home.
An injury riddled 12 months
Part of the reason for Kane taking such time with his next move is the fact that he had off-season surgery, and isn't at 100% still, but when he is, he's expected to look like the Patrick Kane we've all come to see over the past 15 years.
Now the only question seemingly remaining for the Blackhawks legend is, just where will his next home be? One NHL insider has now seemingly narrowed it down.
Three solid destinations
According to NHL Insider Frank Seravalli, we are expected to know the outcome of the Patrick Kane sweepstakes over the next few weeks, with the Buffalo Sabres, Detroit Red Wings and New York Rangers all considered teams to watch.
Patrick Kane isn't likely to make a decision on a new home before November, and this isn't an exhaustive list, but keep an eye on these three teams over the next few weeks:
#LetsGoBuffalo, #NYR and #LGRW.
If any of these teams land Kane, it will increase their chances at playoff glory immensely, and if he's healthy, he would make any of these teams genuine contenders, but for now, only time will tell where his future is.
