The Vancouver Canucks medical staff are the front runners of allegations of mistreating Canucks forward Ilya Mikheyev last season.
Mikheyev's Injury That is Holding Him Out of The Lineup
Last January the Canucks shut down Ilya Mikheyev to help him recover from an injury he had sustained. General Manager Patrik Allvin said he would be ready for the start of the season.
Although Mikheyev left camp after a couple of days due to "personal reasons." It is not official whether Mikheyev will be ready for the start of the season.
Fans of the organization are calling the organization for not shutting down Mikheyev earlier so he would be ready for the start of the season.
If you remember just days before shutting down Mikheyev the Canucks and NHLPA announced an investigation had been launched into how the Canucks handled
Tanner Pearson and his injury.
Mikheyev's agent released this statement following the fans reaction:
"Re: Ilya Mikheyev #Canucks
Good evening, I wanted to clear up Ilya Mikheyev's injury situation in Vancouver. Every player heals differently. He's been working very hard to get ready, just needs a bit more time and then will be back in the lineup. The Canucks have been great in working with Ilya during his surgery and rehabilitation. I know he soon will be ready and hungry to play. #WeAreGoldStar!
The Fans Reaction to Mikheyev Injury Treatment
Fans took to X to voice their displeasure with the Mikheyev injury treatment.
Fans will majorly question the Canucks management the longer Mikheyev is out of the lineup.
