Trevor Zegras has been a star for the Anaheim Ducks, but after the team moved Jamie Drysdale, rumours emerged that No. 11 could be the next player to be moved.
Interesting deal sends Zegras to the Montreal Canadiens
This has got fans of every team dreaming up a way that they could pair their favourite players with the young forward, and now, Hooked on Hockey has given us an intriguing deal to send him to Montreal.
On the surface, this would certainly be an appealing deal for both teams, as it would pair Zegras with fantastic young goal scorer Cole Caufield, and it would give Anaheim another top talent of the future.
Will Zegras leave the Anaheim Ducks?
With two years after this one left on his deal, it's a surprise that the Ducks are reportedly open to moving him, but to land the 22-year old star, it's likely that a team will need to blow the Ducks away with an offer.
Unfortunately, this move is unlikely to get it done, as Zegras could be a star alongside the likes of Cutter Gauthier, Leo Carlsson, Troy Terry and Mason McTavish, and with plans to continue their rebuild, a move like this doesn't really do much for the Ducks.
