Cal Clutterbuck who was traded from the Minnesota Wild to the New York Islanders back in 2013 is apparently going to be on the move soon.
Traded from Minnesota Wild with round 3 pick in the 2013 draft (Eamon McAdam) to New York Islanders for Nino Niederreiter - per Hockeydb.com
Clutterbuck may only play 4th line, but he is part of the "best 4th line in hockey" with Cizikas and Matt Martin which helped the Islanders make back-to-back Eastern Conference Finals appearances.
At the age of 34 and in the final year of a deal that pays him $3,500,000, he would be a very good rental for a team looking to improve the bottom 6 for a cup run.
The Islanders have had a very disappointing season due to injuries and COVID so I guess it is time to sell sell sell!
