Insider Confirms Who Toronto Has Interviewed to Replace Dubas
The Maple Leafs' search for a new GM is officially underway, and as we get a better idea of who's in the race for the title, we've learned some exciting news about the applicants.
Elliotte Friedman Reveals Interviewees
Elliotte Friedman went on the 32 Thoughts Podcast, where he revealed some of the candidates Toronto has interviewed thus far in their search for a new GM. It looks like they're well underway, so let's take a look at who they've spoken to so far.

While we expected to see some familiar names apply, it looks Like Toronto is going all out by interviewing some major veteran GMs. Perhaps the most surprising news of all was the "mystery" candidate that Friedman couldn't disclose.
Friedman Shuts Down One Candidate Rumor
Friedman went on to say that he doesn't think the mystery person was former Oilers GM Peter Chiarelli or former Sabres GM Jason Botterill. So while Toronto's specifications for a GM were specific, they've still excluded some from the process.
