Huge Trade That Would Bring Mitch Marner to Play With Connor Bedard Goes Viral
It was finally confirmed when the draft lottery was held: Connor Bedard will join the Chicago Blackhawks. The organization hasn't confirmed anything, but it's evident that he'll be picked first, and Chicago has the first pick, so...
Now, another important decision is expected in Chicago: who should he play with? If he's all alone out there on the ice, he won't have the same impact as if he were playing with a talented player.
A proposal for a trade, sending
Mitch Marner to play on Bedard's line, was published on Twitter.
As you could have guessed, the price to acquire Marner is high. The Hawks would need to part with top prospects alongside a quality draft pick to acquire the superstar.
It would be one hell of a duo. With Matt Murray in the net, Chicago would already be in a position to compete for the Stanley Cup.
