Former NHLer Attempting a Return to the League
Everything points to the fact that a former NHLer is attempting to come back in the NHL after three years in Europe.
Peter Holland was drafted by the Anaheim Ducks in 2009 at the 15th overall pick. He played 266 NHL games with the Ducks, the Maple Leafs and the Rangers, but never managed to truly establish himself in the League.
Apparently, Holland, now 32 years old, made the decision to attempt a comeback in the NHL.
He's currently training with Gary Roberts in the hope of getting a profesionnal tryout this fall.
"Anyone in the market for a center trying to make a comeback to the NHL? 32 year old Peter Holland seemingly ended his career in Russia in 2022. He's currently training with Gary Roberts and is hoping for an NHL tryout."
It looks like he has real chances. He spent the last years playing in good leagues (KHL and SHL) and now trains hard to make it happen.
We wish him the best of luck going forward.
