Tied at 2 midway through the third period, Tyson Barrie would put one in the net to give the Oilers a 3-2 lead. The Kings pulled the goalie for the extra attacker and Kane was able to bury puck in the empty net to assure the victory for Edmonton.
Kane thought it would be fun to taunt the crowd after the goal, so he held up 7 fingers to let them know that it was going 7 games. It was also Kane's 7th goal of the series, so he could have also been giving himself credit, but who knows.
