Many were surprised how well the Edmonton Oilers and forward Evander Kane worked together. After being called a locker room Cancer in Atlanta, Winnipeg, Buffalo, and San Jose, Kane proved he can be a hell of a good player when Kane puts his mind to it.
After the Oilers made it to the Western Conference Finals, Oilers fans were hoping to get Kane resigned in Oil Country. With a week before free agency begins we are learning the price tag to sign Kane.
Kane had 22 goals and 17 assists in 43 games this season and if you think that's good, he was even better in the playoffs, scoring 13 goals and 4 assists in 15 playoff games with the Oilers.
