Dallas Stars Cancel Watch Party For a Very Sad Reason
They just announced on their Twitter account that they will be cancelling tonight's watch party for the third game against the Seattle Kraken.
"Out of respect for the victims, families and community of Allen, tonight's Game 3 Watch Party on #PNCPlazaDallas has been cancelled."
"We are beyond heartbroken over yesterday's shooting within our community in Allen.
We are at a loss for words.
Our hearts are with the victimes, their families and our community."
It's a small gesture, but it shows that the Stars care and it reminds us that there are bigger things than hockey.
