Claude Giroux on the Verge of Being Traded?
An NHL insider revealed a major development concerning Ottawa Senators' veteran Claude Giroux.
Senators to Trade Giroux at the Deadline?
Giroux has had a great year with the Sens. In 47 games, he score 42 points despite the team's struggles that led to a general manager and head coach change.
At this year's trade deadline, the Senators will likely be sellers, with Claude Giroux considered as a top trade candidate.
Kevin Weekes reported that he could go back to his former team: the Philadelphia Flyers.
Claude Giroux to Head Back to Philadelphia?
Girouz, who played 15 seasons for the Flyers, would be a great addition to his former team.
Even if his $6.5 million AAV salary would complicate things, his constant great performances show that he's worth it.
If the Senators ask him, he could decide to waive his no-trade clause for a return in Philly.
The Flyers, who are in a great position to make it to the playoffs despite Carter Hart's absence, would benefit greatly from Giroux.
