Colorado Avalanche star defenceman Cale Makar is one the most respected players in the NHL right now, and what's scary is the young star hasn't even hit his prime yet.
Makar has been praised about his sportsmanship and tonight was no different. During the Avalanche game vs the New York Islanders, Makar was picking up speed behind his net, when Mat Barzals stick got a little wrapped around him and he went down.
The officials blew the play dead and were calling a penalty to Barzel instead Makar would tell the officials he slipped.
