BREAKING: Superstar Cale Makar Facing Ban for the Next Olympics
Superstar defenseman Cale Makar may be banned from competing in the 2026 Olympics for reasons out of his control.
Makar Potentially Banned From The 2026 Olympics
In a surprising turn of events, it has been determined that the members of the 2018 WJC Team Canada roster will be unable to represent Canada at future events despite not being involved in the scandal.
So Makar may not play in the 2026 Olympics cuz of the ongoing criminal investigation
"Pending the completion of the appeal process, all players from the 2018 National Junior Team remain suspended by Hockey Canada, and are ineligible to play, coach, officiate or volunteer with Hockey Canada-sanctioned programs."
However, there is a solid chance that players like Makar will be reinstated to become eligible to play for Team Canada once the court case is complete.
The Olympics are two years away so we will not get a definite answer for the foreseeable future.
