Tonight major news has come out regarding one of the top hockey teams in Ontario. The team will have a new home starting next season.
Ontario-Based Team Officially Relocates
A new announcement from NHL insider Darren Dreger has confirmed that the Mississauga Steelheads of the OHL will be relocating. The Steelheads won't be heading too far away as they will land in nearby Brampton.
Sources say the Mississauga Steelheads of the OHL are moving the franchise to Brampton, Ontario.
This news will now bring Major Junior hockey to the city of Brampton and a whole new generation of junior hockey fans will be found. As of now, there is no news of whether the franchise will change its name or logo in its new location.
