The New York Rangers are a team that just a few short years ago sent a letter to their fans saying they would be entering a rebuild.
Here we are now, and they're the team that went the biggest at the trade deadline to bring in stars like Patrick Kane and Vladimir Tarasenko to try and win a Stanley Cup this season.
The Rangers have been blessed with good luck in the draft lottery and even better luck with their drafted players. They have young future stars in Alexis Lafreniere, Kappo Kakko, Braden Schneider and Filip Chytil.
The Rangers have now just announced that they've signed the 23 year old Chytil to a 4 year contract extension:
With 22 goals 42 points in 66 games this season Chytil is developing into a great top 6 center.
