After the passing of Mike Bossy from Lung Cancer last week, we saw Guy Lafleur talk about his current fight with cancer as well.
''Montreal Canadiens legend Guy Lafleur has been fighting lung cancer ever since a cancerous white spot was found on his right lung in September 2019
-Sportsnet''
Lafleur recently did an interview with the Montreal Gazzette in which he said:
"It's rough, it's painful. My weight has dropped to 169 pounds. That doesn't make any sense." "I no longer take any medication. I dropped all that at Christmas. I want to have a good quality of life. I take life as is"
Things must have gotten worse for Lafleur as the Montreal Canadiens have released this statement asking for everyone to respect the privacy of the family.
This is tough, we don't want to lose anymore of our hockey family. Prayers for Guy Lafleur.
