The scandal surrounding the 2018 World Junior Championship has been a major focal point in the hockey community for several months.
2018 WJC Scandal Trial Scheduled for Court Reappearance on April 30th
According to recent confirmations from judicial and law enforcement authorities, the trial concerning the 2018 WJC scandal is set to resume in court at the end of April.
The case currently involves five players: Carter Hart, Dillon Dube, Alex Formenton, Cal Foote, and Michael McLeod. These athletes are preparing to defend their innocence in the proceedings. Hart, Dube, Formenton, and Foote are each facing a single charge, whereas McLeod is contending with an additional charge for his alleged involvement in the offense.
