BREAKING: Alex Ovechkin leaves game INJURED
In what was at the time a 1-1 game between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Washington Capitals, Alex Ovechkin picked off a pass and went in on a breakaway, missing the puck then getting tripped by rookie goaltender Erik Kallgren's stick and crashed shoulder first into the boards.
Ovechkin got up on his own, furious with the goalie and referee on the no call, and headed to the dressing room.
