Even though Jeannot got the better of Xhekaj in this fight Xhekaj once again showed the willingness to stand up for his teammates. He has ensured that every team that plays the Canadiens knows there are consequences for crossing that line.
As the season goes on Xhekaj is sure to get into plenty more fights. Unfortunately for the Canadiens in this game, the fight couldn't shift the momentum as they ended up losing 5-3.
