A video shows Boston Bruins' David Pastrnak asking his coach the permission to fight Florida Panthers' Matthew Tkachuk in game two.

The third period of the second game between the Panthers and the Bruins didn't disappoint. Fans got to see a lot of action and the Bruins' response to trailing behind 6-1 in the game. As you can guess, players weren't happy and turned to physicality to express their dissatisfaction.

In the third period, the referees handed out 12 game misconducts to players from both teams, including to David Pastrnak and Matthew Tkachuk.

Both players got into it during a wild scrum, but weren't penalized. They met at center-ice after to discuss with the referees and Tkachuk provoked him, which led to an intense discussion between them.

After that, they both returned to their bench and asked their coach the permission to drop the gloves against each other.

A video captured Pastrnak and Jim Montgomery talking about it:

"Pasta and Tkachuk agreed to fight before going at it the next shift! 🤯"

A few seconds later, the two players jumped on the ice and dropped the gloves.

Watch how it went down in the following video:

The rivalry between the Bruins and the Panthers will likely continue to get more intense as they get ready to compete in game three, in Boston, on Friday night.
