Last night, in a game between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Edmonton Oilers, Max Domi dropped the gloves with Mattias Janmark. Tie Domi wasn't impressed in the stands.

Despite Tie Domi's notorious NHL career as an enforcer, he appeared less than thrilled by his son's altercation.

The Toronto Maple Leafs beat McDavid and the Oilers 6-3, and even had a 5-0 lead at some point in the game.

The Oilers ended up hitting their stride in the third period, but fell short of three goals.

As the instensity was already high, it boiled over when Domi dropped the gloves with Janmark.

Both players were battling while skating in the Leafs' zone, before starting the fight from behind the net.

Here's how it went down:

Former Leafs' player and renowned enforcer Tie Domi has a surprising reaction after his son Max engaged in a fight.

Tie Domi, Max's father and a former Maple Leafs enforcer, showed a surprisingly calm reaction to his son's fight. Indeed, he looked more worried than happy.

For a father, seeing your son fighting, especially when having lived through many, can be tense. Although some were surprised by Tie's lack of enthusiasm for Max's fight, it's understandable that he might have been more concerned for his safety or simply unmoved, given his extensive experience with such confrontations.
