It all started when Blake Coleman sent Connor McDavid flying with a major hit, which led to Zach Hyman's second goal of the night.

Later in the period, Oilers' forward Mattias Janmark went to Coleman and forced him to drop the gloves.

Looking at the scene, we can't help but see that even if the Oilers lost, this team is ready for the playoffs. Players defending their teammates is a sign of a healthy locker room and if they bring the same level of energy to the playoffs, they'll definitely need to be taken seriously.
