Vancouver Canucks forward Dakota Joshua diagnosed with cancer
Vancouver Canucks forward Dakota Joshua felt a strange lump in his groin area and got it checked by doctors. It turned out to be cancer.
No one ever wants to hear the word cancer. Unfortunately for Dakota Joshua of the Vancouver Canucks, he received that terrible news from his doctors after discovering a lump in his groin area.
The good news is that he did have successful surgery to remove the tumor as it was caught on time. He issued a heartfelt message on social media regarding his situation.
Dakota Joshua was a 5th-round pick by the Toronto Maple Leafs back in 2014. He has gone on to play in 184 NHL games, scoring 33 goals and 31 assists, for 64 points.
Dakota Joshua will miss the start of the season as he recovers from his surgery. We wish him the very best.
