New Jersey Devils head coach Sheldon Keefe is currently looking to bolster his coaching staff and is reportedly targeting Jeremy Colliton of the Vancouver Canucks organization.

Since being hired by the New Jersey Devils, Sheldon Keefe has been looking for coaches to join him behind the bench as assistants. He is reportedly targeting current Abbotsford Canucks head coach Jeremy Colliton as one of his assistants.

Jeremy Colliton would make a good assistant coach. One of the best things about his entire tenure was his Powerplay and offensive setup.

Colliton has previously worked as the head coach of the Chicago Blackhawks where he coached for three years exactly. For the past two years, he has been the head coach of the Abbotsford Canucks in the AHL and has coached them to the playoffs in both of his years there.

Colliton has no experience as an NHL assistant coach having been a head coach for the majority of his coaching career.

We will now wait and see if Keefe and the Devils can pry Colliton away from the Canucks organization or if he will continue to coach at the AHL level.

Colliton is currently the head coach of the Abbotsford Canucks, the #Canucks AHL affiliate.
