The trade rumors surrounding Canucks' Elias Pettersson don't seem to be going away, as Darren Dreger has revealed that his days could be numbered in Vancouver.
It's often said, that when it rains it pours, and while no floods are visible yet, the speculation surrounding Vancouver Canucks star Pettersson is growing.
So much so that Stefen Rosner of 'The Hockey News' acknowledged it openly on Saturday morning.
Canucks mysteriously cancel practice and morning skate
If all that wasn't enough, the Canucks added to the intrigue with some unusual moves, canceling both Friday's practice and Saturday morning's skate ahead of a marquee matchup against the Toronto Maple Leafs on 'Hockey Night in Canada.'
Rosner used those decisions as examples when asked about a potential trade. The bigger question is which teams are positioned to get a blockbuster trade in the middle of the season?
Could the Canucks actually make a second major trade after already sending J.T. Miller to the New York Rangers?
One thing for sure is whatever went down behind the scenes between Miller and Pettersson has seemingly left the organization ready to move on from both, as rumors have not died down one bit since the Canucks' recent trades.
