Auston Matthews is rumored to be out with a concussion and the moment Matthews was potentially concussed has been spread around on social media.

Since missing game five and being confirmed to miss tonight's game six matchup versus the Boston Bruins, Toronto Maple Leafs star Auston Matthews has been rumored to be suffering from a concussion contrary to the illness that the Leafs say he has.

Jay Rosehill, a former Toronot Maple Leaf, took to social media and shared when Matthews could have gotten concussed.

My two cents on Auston Matthews

Had a hard crash into the boards in game 80

Was rattled but played through it.
As he did, symptoms came up and got worse.

They shut him down.
Not messing around with a franchise player

Not confirming this but it makes sense

Here is the video from game 80 which Matthews did not need to play but rather wanted to play to chase the 70 goal mark that he fell just short of.

This has gotta be where Auston Matthews got hurt , collided with *** Nylander and hits the back of his head on the boards. Looking back could easily be a concussion. Meaningless *** game and now we don't have him for the playoffs

Now, the Leafs will have to win another elimination game without Matthews if they want to have any hope of him playing again for the franchise this season.
