Earlier today, Max Domi signed a four-year extension to stay with the Toronto Maple Leafs and one of his teammates has requested a trade out of Toronto.

Today has been a busy one for Toronto Maple Leafs GM Brad Treliving. He started off by signing Max Domi to an extension and then later signed Chris Tanev to a contract as well.

Max Domi is signing a four-year extension with the #leafs carrying a $3.75M AAV.

Long negotiation winds up with a great deal for both sides.

BREAKING: The Leafs are in the process of agreeing on a contract extension with defenseman Chris Tanev.

$5M AVV term not know yet.

It was then announced just now that young forward Nick Robertson has officially requested a trade out of Toronto.

Sources say that RFA Nick Robertson has no plans to re-sign with the #leafs this summer and has informed the team that he would like to be traded.

Robertson has struggled with injuries since adjusting to the professional game. However, he has the upside to be a really good NHL player so GM Treliving will look to get the best return possible for him.

We will now wait and see how long it takes the Leafs to sign Robertson to a contract.
