The Philadelphia Flyers landed their dream Head Coach candidate, but as a result there's been major accusations of tampering from Canucks fans.

On Wednesday, the Philadelphia Flyers announced their replacement for John Tortorella in Rick Tocchet, and it's safe to say that for Flyers fans, there's likely never been a bigger Head Coach upgrade in one off-season.
This comes less than a few weeks after the Canucks announced they were parting ways with Tocchet, who revealed to the team that he wanted to return to the East Coast to be closer to his family.
This new deal with the Flyers accomplishes that, but given his connections to the organization after 11 seasons with the team, some fans, especially Canucks ones see something suspicious in this situation, revealing their thoughts on social media.
According to this fan, something is fishy with the Flyers landing Tocchet, as the belief appears to be that everything was performative to get him back to Philadelphia, with the two sides knowing all along that he would end up with the Flyers.
It's a hard accusation to prove, and it's very likely that the NHL would never look into it as Tocchet and Vancouver announced a clean split before he took interviews with other teams, but given that he ended up in his dream job with a huge salary, it's easy to understand the frustration from fans.
After announcing Tocchet to Phialdelphia, it was quickly revealed that Vancouver was hiring assistant Adam Foote to be their next Head Coach, so both parties have moved on very quickly, but if there's any evidence behind this claim, don't be surprised to hear more about it.
