The Ottawa Senators have had a complete disaster of a season and will be more than likely selling at this years deadline. They have one star winger who just revealed their dream destination.
Tarasenko Reveals What Team He Dreams To Be On For The Playoffs
The Senators who were projected to be a divisional playoff team currently sit second last in the Eastern Conference only one point ahead of Columbus.
They have fired their Head Coach in a attempt to change their season but it has not worked, it is clear this team has not worked well as a group and changes will be needed.
They do have a pending UFA in Vladimir Tarasenko who will be shipped out of Ottawa before the deadline ends. He has just revealed his dream landing spot.
Vladimir Tarasenko prefers to be traded to the Florida Panthers
Does Tarasenko Fit Into The Panthers Lineup?
With Tarasenko having a desire to go down to sunning Florida just a season after their trip to the Stanley Cup finals the addition of a pure sniper may push this team over the edge.
The Panthers have done surprisingly well this year large part due to the strong season from Matthew Tkachuk. The Panthers sit top of the Atlantic Division with 88 points.
According to Daily Faceoff this is their current top nine forward group:
Verhaeghe - Barkov - Reinhart
Cousins - Bennett - Tkachuk
Luostarinen - Lundell - Rodrigues
A top nine that has done phenomenally well this year if the Panthers acquire Tarasenko he would most likely be put on the third line replacing Luostarinen.
It will be intriguing to see if the Panthers stick with what is working or look to add a player like Tarasenko at the deadline.
