Artemi Panarin Goes Viral For A Hilarious Clip With Darren Pang
This afternoon the New York Rangers took on the New York Rangers in a St. Patrick's Day game. Early into the third period Rangers star Artemi Panarin did something that ended in a viral clip on the television broadcast.
Panarin Goes Viral For A Hilarious Clip
For this special St. Patrick's Day game, TNT was broadcasting in the United States. In the third period, analyst Darren Pang was on air between the benches talking about the game. Pang while doing the game had a St. Patrick's Day drink between the benches with him. All of a sudden Artemi Panarin came up out of nowhere grabbed Pang's special holiday drink and took a sip.
OMG Panarin snuck in a sip of @Panger40's leprechaun juice
The goal would go on to be good luck for Panarin and the Rangers as the rest of that third period would be dominated by them.
Panarin Dominates On St. Patrick's Day
After taking a drink from Pang, Artemi Panarin would seal the game for the New York Rangers with an assist on the team's 5th goal.
While this would be Panarin's only point of the day it was a crucial goal in locking up the game. The Rangers stay in first in the Metropolitan Division and come within one point of the Boston Bruins for first in the Eastern Conference.
Artemi Panarin will be key to the New York Rangers going forward. If messing with announcers between the benches is helping him play at a high level one wonders if he will do it again next game.
