Friedman reveals multiple teams 'lusting' over Predators' Ryan O'Reilly

NHL analyst Elliotte Friedman believes multiple teams are "lusting" to acquire Nashville Predators forward Ryan O'Reilly.
The Nashville Predators don't have it together right now, and even though they managed to win 6-3 over the Detroit Red Wings last night, they are still the worst team overall in the NHL.
Their bad start to the season once again has thrust multiple players into trade rumours, including names like Steven Stamkos, Jonathan Marchessault and Ryan O'Reilly.
O'Reilly is one of the most likely trade candidates for the Predators, and NHL analyst Elliotte Friedman believes there are multiple teams that are "lusting" after the former Stanley Cup champion with the St. Louis Blues in 2019.
In Nashville, GM Barry Trotz said this week on his regular 102.5 radio appearance there will be more opportunity for the Joakim Kemell-type prospects at the NHL level. I stick to what I said last week, that the Predators are still feeling their way through things, from ownership on down. This is a critical time in franchise history, and they want to get it right. Like Vancouver, Nashville is exploring the market, well-aware there are teams lusting after Ryan O'Reilly. Remember: he's got big say in any move. - Elliotte Friedman
So far this year, O'Reilly has 16 points (7G, 9A) in 23 games.
Ryan O'Reilly Is A Former Stanley Cup Winner
Taken with the 33rd overall pick in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, O'Reilly has played for multiple teams in his NHL career, but achieved his best success with the St. Louis Blues.
He not only helped bring the team to their first franchise Stanley Cup in 2019, but he also won the Conn Smythe Trophy as postseason MVP that year.
He has 837 points (309G, 528A) in 1,174 career games.
