Today the Montreal Canadiens have made a much-anticipated move with one of their best prospects. The team announced today that they have signed Luke Tuch to an entry-level contract.

The Montreal Canadiens continue to clean up the list of their unsigned NCAA prospects. First was defenseman Lane Hutson and now today Luke Tuch is added to the list after signing his entry-level deal according to NHL insider Elliotte Friedman.

Still work to be done, but looking like 2020 second-rounder Luke Tuch will sign with the Canadiens

Before today there was some doubt about Luke Tuch signing with the Canadiens. As a college player, he was able to sign anywhere he wanted if he had waited until August. Instead, he sped up the process and signed with the team that drafted him the Montreal Canadiens.

According to one of Alex Jodoin @colegoalfield's posts, Luke Tuch signed a "2 Year" Entry Level contract with #GoHabsGo and Lane Hutson may have spilled the beans ..let's allow some time to possibly prove Alex either right or wrong

The Montreal Canadiens will once again get an infusion of youth into their roster. It remains to be seen if Luke Tuch will make his debut this season or head to the AHL in Laval. As that information becomes available we will provide it to you.
