Cole Caufield at center of Martin St-Louis' officiating frustration after Game 4

Lane Hutson carried 28:02 on the blue line, a massive workload in a one-goal playoff game. Montreal leaned on skill, but Buffalo got the better return from special teams.

St-Louis cannot let Game 5 become a whistle referendum, yet his top six has to keep attacking inside ice.

Buffalo will live with the chaos if Montreal starts chasing justice instead of entries. The Canadiens need pushback, but the smarter answer is drawing calls with pace.
