Montreal Canadiens Claim White Off Waivers
Elliotte Friedman has just broke the news that the Montreal Canadiens have snagged Colin White off of waivers from the Pittsburgh Penguins. White is a former first-round pick who has struggled to find a spot on the Penguins roster this season.
White played the first several years of his career with the Ottawa Senators organization, before heading to Florida last season. He started the season with the Penguins this year, and will now see if he can crack a roster spot with the Canadiens.
White has played in just 11 games so far this year with Pittsburgh and has yet to record a point. He has 44 goals and 69 assists for 113 points in 303 games in his NHL career.
