Aaron Ekblad Puts The League On Notice With Bold Quotes About The Panthers' Future

For three straight years, it's been the Florida Panthers to represent the Eastern Conference in the Stanley Cup Finals, and in the last two, they've taken down the Edmonton Oilers, winning their first two Cups in franchise history.

Unsurprisingly, that success has helped the team sign several key players to long-term deals this summer, with former No. 1 overall pick Aaron Ekblad staying loyal after a decade with the organization, inking a massive deal to remain the No. 1 on this talented blue line.

While many fans are sick of the Florida Panthers and their success, unfortunately for opposing fans, it appears as though they're set up for success, with Ekblad, Tkachuk, Barkov, Marchand, Bennett, Verhaeghe and many others all set to remain on the team for years to come.

The players know it too, as Ekblad made a massive statement to the NHL in a recent interview, noting that the team are set up for sustained success, stating that their window is going to be open for a long time to come.

Unfortunately for teams in the East, it's true that the Panthers are ready for sustained success, and unless injuries or potential drama get in their way, there's very few teams in the NHL that will be able to matchup with them over the next few seasons.
