Legendary NHL Analyst Calls Out the Edmonton Oilers Ahead of Game 6

A legendary NHL analyst called out the Edmonton Oilers ahead of the sixth game of the Stanley Cup Finals against the Florida Panthers.
After a tight series, the Oilers now have their backs against the wall, with the Panthers only one win away from winning a second straight Stanley Cup.
The Panthers managed to win a crucial game over the weekend, with a 5-2 win over the Oilers in Edmonton to get an opportunity to win the Cup in front of their fans on Tuesday evening.
If the Oilers want to tie the series and force a seventh game, players will need to be better, and most importantly, not let the Panthers enforce their typical style.
In a new development, the renowned NHL analyst Ray Ferraro called out the Oilers for using a controversial strategy that could explain the series results so far, and explained what the team should do in the next game against Florida.
Here's what he said:
"That high flip has become a tactic around the league. And I always hated it because we finally get the puck, and now it's like we're on the punt coverage team. Right? They flip it up, we go down, they've got the puck again. Like, why can't we pass it out?
And if Edmonton's D can get back to make a first clean touch, I think their first play has got to go up the middle of the ice. You rim it around the boards, and Florida just snuffs it out. Like, (Edmonton needs to) get back quick as you can.
Maybe that open spot is the middle of the ice, and that backs off their D. And if it doesn't, then you can go to the high flip.
But it's not easy, right? Like Florida is not going to give you any time to do it."

Even if Ferraro doesn't like that strategy, it must've worked at some point for the Oilers if they reached the Finals. However, changing strategies can be a great way to take your opponents by surprise, especially in a best-of-seven series.
