Corey Perry Calls Out His Edmonton Oilers Teammates
Edmonton Oilers forward Corey Perry knows what it takes to win Stanley Cups, having won a cup with the Anaheim Ducks back in 2007 and going to three straight Stanley Cup Finals from 2020-2022, and he has just now issued a warning to his Oilers teammates who have an ego.
To say Corey Perry is a veteran of the game of hockey would be quite an understatement. Throughout Perry's nearly 1300 game career spent with the Anaheim Ducks, Dallas Stars, Montreal Canadiens, Tampa Bay Lightning, Chicago Blackhawks, and now the Edmonton Oilers, Perry has amassed an impressive 426 goals and 900 points. He has gone the distance many times and is looking to bring a Stanley Cup back to Canada with the Edmonton Oilers.
In a recent interview, Perry called out some of his egotistical teammates for being selfish and not putting the logo on the front of the jersey ahead of the name on the back.

"You check your ego at the door, it doesn't matter where you play, or how much you play as long as the team is winning." - Corey Perry
Corey Perry speaks about the #Oilers lineup down the stretch as they face Buffalo tonight.
Perry's fresh start with the Edmonton Oilers
Since Perry had his contract terminated earlier this year by the Chicago Blackhawks, Perry has been through the NHL Player Assistance Program and has returned to the NHL with the Oilers.
Since returning he has scored five goals and eight points through 23 games with the Oilers. While the numbers are not stellar, he was brought in to be a veteran presence and he has proved to be just that with the Oilers thus far.
