Top insider reveals the real team Dylan Larkin will be traded to

The Dylan Larkin trade saga may be heading toward a surprise ending. The Athletic's Chris Johnston believes the Detroit Red Wings center will be moved to a club that is not currently on his approved list.
My hunch is that he ultimately is traded to a team that isn't currently on that list of 10 teams
That is a bold prediction, because Larkin holds a no-trade clause and controls where he goes.
His list has grown from three teams to ten, and now features the Panthers, Wild, Golden Knights, Stars, Capitals, Hurricanes, Mammoth, Lightning, Devils and Avalanche. Even so, no deal has come together.
Why the Current List Is Not Getting It Done
Price is the sticking point. Detroit wants players who can help right now rather than a futures package, and many of the clubs on Larkin's list are contenders that do not want to weaken their cores.
When both sides cannot agree on value, a wider pool of suitors starts to look necessary.
Johnston has also noted signs that Larkin is willing to go a bit beyond ten teams if needed. That lines up with his latest hunch and suggests the veteran center is prepared to compromise to get out of Detroit.
Which New Teams Could Enter the Mix?
Any club added to the list would instantly reshape the market. Canadiens fans have loudly chanted for Larkin, yet Montreal is still missing from his approved destinations, and reports say the Canadiens are ready to present an offer if the door opens. Other teams without a spot could also emerge if Larkin signs off.
Detroit, for its part, has refused to rush into a deal that does not return real help. David Pagnotta has suggested there has been traction and that a move could land by the end of the month, though nothing is guaranteed.
Larkin holds the leverage, and the next few weeks should reveal whether Johnston's hunch proves correct. Keep an eye on which new name appears on the list.
