Unsurprisingly, he's going to attempt to fight through and play tonight in a must-win game, and with the Pittsburgh Penguins up later this week, the Red Wings could decide their playoff fate with a pair of crucial wins. To do so, they'll need Seider, who has become a key piece of their lineup, tallying a solid 40 points in 77 games played this season on the blue line. We will know closer to game time just how bad the illness is for Seider, but right now he's going to attempt to tough it out as he looks to show that he can capitalize on all the potential he's shown in his young NHL career.
