Miro Heiskanen left the game last night with an injury after getting hit by Mark Stone, and fans have been blasting him while the team looks for reinforcements.
Heiskanen's injury occurred when he was hit by Mark Stone, who was being watched by Dallas forward
Roope Hintz. Stone's knee caught Heiskanen's leg in an awkward spot and his knee snapped in the process, so to say.
It was obvious that Heiskanen was in quite a bit of discomfort because he started holding on to his left knee and was not able to get up on his own.
He needed his teammates to help carry him off the ice. The referee called a two-minute minor penalty against Hintz as a result of this play.

Some of the fans on X went on to express their concerns regarding the sequence of actions that resulted in Heiskanen's brutal injury.
"A lot to unpack. What I see: 1) Stone was "tripped", but doesn't look like enough to make him fall like this 2) Looks like, while off balance he dives to poke at the puck and the result is a collision with Miro's leg Super shi**y if Miro is out long," a fan looked at the situation more closely.
It's too bad for the Dallas Stars that Heiskanen will be missing from the lineup in the most critical part of the season.
David Pagnotta reveals the Stars will seek reinforcements
Trade talks will now likely begin for the Stars per NHL insider
David Pagnotta, especially since they will be without such an important player. Without Heiskanen, the Stars' defense too, is going to have to adjust their strategy as well.
When the team undergoes shifts like this, dramatic alterations to the defensive style will be made to heighten their chances at a deep playoff run.
