Court date set for Blue Jackets prospect Jordan Dumais after arrest

Tonight reports have confirmed that the next step in the legal process has been scheduled for Columbus Blue Jackets prospect Jordan Dumias. He will face multiple charges for a DUI-related arrest.
Today it was announced that the next step in his legal process will be arraignment on April 9th in a Nova Scotia court.
UPDATE: #CBJ prospect Jordan Dumais is scheduled for arraignment on April 9 at 10 am ADT in Halifax Provincial Court, his first court appearance for two DUI-related offenses he was charged with earlier this month.

Beyond his arrest, Jordan Dumais had been having a great season in the QMJHL. Despite a
major hip injury to begin the season to begin the season he still made the best of his year in juniors. In 21 games played Jordan Dumais totaled 47 points.

As of now, the Columbus Blue Jackets have not commented on whether or not Jordan Dumais' conduct will impact his NHL future. Before this incident, he was considered one of the steals of his draft and looked to have an incredibly bright future in professional hockey.
