Veteran Teammate Pulls Off A Dirty Move In Defense Of Connor Bedard
Connor Bedard is one of the most protected players in all of the NHL at this moment and his teammate went after a defenseman who tried to hit Bedard.
During last night's game between the Chicago Blackhawks and San Jose Sharks, defenseman Calen Addison took down Connor Bedard in a rude way which resulted in Bedard being eliminated from the play.
In retaliation to this, veteran teammate Tyler Johnson took things into his own hands and speared Calen Addison right in the stomach.
Both Addison and Johnson received two-minute roughing penalties on the play but it is likely that Johnson will face a fine or potential suspension for his actions.
Chicago Takes Down San Jose 5-2
The Sharks jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead in the first period but the Blackhawks retaliated scoring five unanswered, two of which Bedard had a hand in.
Then to clean things up with the empty net, Connor Bedard netted his 21st goal of the year assisted by Johnson and Kurashev.
The Blackhawks now have a 4-point lead on the Sharks for last place in the NHL.
