Nick Foligno missed practice yesterday for the Chicago Blackhawks, citing personal reasons, as the Blackhawks look to close out a disappointing season.
The Chicago Blackhawks have had a disappointing season this year. It wasn't expected that they would be super successful, however, they failed to make any major improvements this season. It was a tall ask of Connor Bedard to make that big of a difference, but the Blackhawks also brought in veteran Nick Foligno to try and guide him through his first year of the NHL.
As the season winds down, Nick Foligno was absent at practice a few days ago, and did not play in their game against the St. Louis Blues last night.
Nick Foligno is not practicing today for personal reasons.
Foligno has excelled in his role as mentor to Connor Bedard, and has played in 70 games this season for the Blackhawks. he has 17 goals and 20 assists for 37 points on the season. More notably, Foligno has been able to ease Bedard into the first year of the NHL.
