After Patrick Kane signed with the Detroit Red Wings and the Chicago Blackhawks went into a rebuild many people did not expect a reunion. However, a new report from Scott Powers of The Athletic says that the possibility will be discussed by Kyle Davidson and the front office.
If the Chicago Blackhawks feel they are ready to at least try contending then Patrick Kane could be a great addition to add alongside Connor Bedard and their other young stars. If things don't work out he can always be moved at the trade deadline for future assets as he chases a Stanley Cup.
When it comes to Patrick Kane I would bet that many Chicago Blackhawks fans would love to have one more run with him in the lineup. One last year to give one of their franchise greats a proper goodbye before he retires or chases a Stanley Cup elsewhere.
