The Arizona Coyotes will be no more from the 2024-25 season, and now some of those players are getting acclimated to their new home.
The past few weeks have been an absolute whirlwind for those in Utah and Arizona, and obviously the fans, but some times it's looked past just how much of an effect this may have had on the current Coyotes. While trying to finish out a promising season that's shown what a bright future they had, the current players had to deal with many questions about their future, but that's been officially decided now, with the team heading to Salt Lake City.
Now that the 2023-24 season is over, players are now beginning to explore their new home, with a group of Arizona Coyotes players touching down in Salt Lake City today, getting a heroes welcome by those in attendance.
It's become clear just how hungry the fans in Utah are for the NHL, and with so many in attendance to meet their new favourite players along with the incredible demand for season tickets, the NHL could thrive in Utah.
With the draft and free agency still upcoming, it's been reported that Ryan Smith and the owners will be aggressive in making this team a contender from the outset, and with plenty of assets and a talented young core, this is an exciting time for sports in Utah.
